Berat, the city of one on one windows, consists of three main neighborhoods: Kalaja, Mangalem and Gorica. The protected area, as well as the three main neighborhoods, are part of the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The museum city has certainly undergone its transformations adapting to the modern way of living, so the country offers a multitude of typologies as far as hotels are concerned, but we were looking for a hotel that preserved authenticity and tradition. therefore, Berati Castle Hotel, both in terms of its name and its location in Kala, met exactly what we were looking for.
️ ️ Reception: the lady who answered the phone was very kind and clearly oriented us on the typology of the rooms.
As we approached, we tried several times to contact the hotel to ask if they had a restaurant, otherwise we would have lunch somewhere in Mangalem and then go up to the Castle. However, the phone was turned off. I think a business should have availability at all times.
(I.e. room: Classic Triple Room / €50 with breakfast included.
