Let me reassure you about the choice: CS 1.6 is doing quite well in Albania and the surrounding regions. There are several active servers hosted right in Albania, and they run steadily. For example, COBRA|CobraCommunity is a public de_dust2 server that keeps a stable player base and ranks highly in the region. There is also Matrix ClanWar #1 by HyperHost, which is likewise located in Albania and shows excellent availability. On top of that, the Albanian community GameR mentions more than 10 official CS 1.6 servers, some of which appear in the GameTracker top 15, which shows the game is genuinely popular here. So you will have no shortage of servers, and your ping should be comfortable. If you decide to download the game, you can grab a clean version here: https://counter-strike-download.net/. It works without Steam, comes with a working server browser, and includes bots for offline practice.
