Has anyone here recently explored book publishing services and noticed how different the experience can be depending on the provider? I’m trying to figure out where authors actually get the most value editing, design, marketing, or full-service support. What should writers realistically expect, and which parts of the process matter most for a successful launch? I’d love to hear experiences or recommendations so new authors know what to look for before committing.
