The security was so serious that it actually elevated the experience. Dave and his guests and all the attendees could just enjoy the party, which is what this was, and relax without phones and the artists feeling like spectacles. Anyway, 3 comics and Mobetta Brown, DJ Pee made for an incredible evening of entertainment.
The vibe in the room was amazing. A total bargain for the cost to attend. It’s been on my bucket list for many years to see Dave Chappelle & he did not disappoint. The venue was intimate so I felt like he was talking to me. His openers were hilarious & as expected he was funnier than I’d ever hoped for. But what made this event the best day of my life was that he brought out some of THE biggest hip hop legends alive…his friends. It felt like I was at a party but filled with some of the most amazing artists of my lifetime. In between watching these legends perform classic songs they were cracking jokes & just having a good time. I felt like I was in the most amazing dream & I did not want to wake up. I will never take for granted how epic this was & how blessed I am to have been able to witness it. Rating: 5 out of 5 Once in a lifetime experience by Tako on 5/8/26 Secret Location – LA – Los Angeles It was a small venue, but it was really well organized, we were probably around 150 attendees. Every comedian performing from the opening comedian, to Dave Chappelle brought their A game, really fun, and well planned. Rating: 5 out of 5 Dave and Christopher Cross are a Dynamic Duo by Boogie Sue on 3/23/26 YS Firehouse – Yellow Springs Dave did the jokes and Mr Cross did the songs and it was the best random Wednesday night concert I’ve ever been to. The songs were a mix of classic hits and deep cuts, the sound was excellent, and the Firehouse had another fantastic performance. In one night I went through my childhood-jumping ramps on my pink Huffy Sweet Thunder (Ride like the Wind) to cruising with my mom in our Chevelle (Sailing/Arthur).
