A type of cancer drug used for the treatment of myeloma and mylodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Lenalidomide also treats anemia patients. It works by enhanching the immue system by indirectly helping to slow the growth of cancerous cells, it does not cure the disease but extends survival rate of the patients.
