For getting information about the file path on your Mac computer, you will first have to open the Finder application. After finding the file whose path you wish to know, right click on the file to get a context menu. Choose Get Info from the menu to see the location of the file. However, if you would like to copy the whole path to your clipboard, hold down the Option key when right clicking the file and then choose Copy as Pathname from the menu. Another good way is to use the Finder Path Bar to find out the file path.
