The absence of understanding of the status of the project, roles, or changes is one of the most common complaints in construction. That is why why I’m building Capabilisense centers on increasing transparency to the entire stakeholders. When each person is updated on the same material at the same location, whether it be an update of progress or new material orders or modified schedules, there is much less possibility of misunderstandings taking place. Rather than making individual telephone calls, mails or informal messages, Capabilisense places important information in a common interface where all can view. This minimizes conflicts, builds responsibility and assists teams in making decisions that are better since they do not have to guess as to what other people know or are anticipating. Transparency will lead to the creation of trust that will not only help in establishing a relationship between the teams but also between the team and the client who would desire to know that all is going on as scheduled. This kind of visibility during a build is one of the main reasons why I am constructing Capabilisense because projects will be less uncertain and tense to all.
